Frequently asked questions
Short answers. Some policies are still being finalised with Eurekar's lawyer and are marked as such.
What is the difference between a Eurekar car and a private seller?
A Eurekar car is owned and sold by Eurekar; you pay Eurekar. A private seller owns their car and sells it through Eurekar; you pay the seller at a supervised closing, and the seller pays Eurekar a commission.
Does "checked" mean the car has no problems?
No. Each listing shows which checks were done, by whom and when, and what each check does not cover. An inspection paper describes the car on its date only.
Can I call the seller directly?
Not at launch. Questions, viewings and offers go to Eurekar, and our staff coordinate with the seller. This protects both sides' privacy.
Is my offer binding?
Offers are conditional on viewing the car. An accepted offer holds the car for a limited time until the sale agreement is signed.
Can I pay in cash?
No. Eurekar does not accept cash for any payment. Car payments are bank transfers confirmed at the supervised closing.
How is the ownership transferred?
Through the Ministry of Interior's Sahel app: the seller starts the transfer and the buyer accepts it, with a Eurekar agent present.
What does selling cost?
Listing is free in this demo. Eurekar earns a commission on a completed sale under your signed listing agreement. The exact formula is still being finalised.
Is the finance calculator a bank offer?
No. It is a generic estimate with sample figures. It shows every assumption and is not a quote or an approval.
Can I return a car?
Return and withdrawal rules are being confirmed with Eurekar's lawyer and will be published before launch.
How do I report a listing?
Use "Report this listing" on the car page. Reports go to Eurekar's moderation team.
